Things we do offer and have available:
- Guided Castner Glacier/Ice cave tours (half-day tour) (year round)
- Dog mushing excursions (winter-weather dependent)
- Flightseeing tours over the Hayes range (year round)
- Full-day Backcountry guided hikes (year round)
- Snowshoeing/ Crosscountry skiing - guided or self guided on lodge trails (winter)- Guests can rent snowshoes and cross country skis for self guided trips as well
- Northern LIghts Viewing information.- We do not offer guided tours for this outside of the all-inclusive package but like to have information for guests to know where to look
- Hiking - can be guided or self guided. We do have a map of trails behind the lodge and our staff know many areas that guests can go explore. (year round- can be guided or self guided)
For your safety and participation, all guests are required to review and sign a waiver of liability prior to joining any guided adventure.

Skiing & Snowshoeing
Step into a snow-covered world just beyond the lodge. Our skiing and snowshoeing trails travel through peaceful forest, along the quartz-lined bluff, and up toward the eastern ridgeline for sweeping views of the Alaska Range.
Explore at your own pace with our trail maps, or book a guided outing to learn about the land, wildlife, and history of the area. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned winter traveler, there’s space here for adventure, connection, and quiet moments in the snow.
